Dividends of Renewed Hope: Ajeromi-Ifelodun Residents Set to Benefit from Federal Cash Transfer Card Distribution

November 28, 2024

In line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment to lift millions of Nigerians out of poverty, the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, in partnership with the National Social Investment Programme Agency (N-SIPA), the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO), and the Lagos State Cash Transfer Office, is extending another impactful wave of economic relief to the grassroots.

On Friday, September 5th, 2025, the Executive Chairman of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area, Hon. Olalekan Olu Akindipe (Mayor Akindipe), will officially flag off the distribution of Cash Transfer Cards to deserving residents of Ajeromi-Ifelodun.

This initiative goes beyond a social intervention — it is a living expression of the Renewed Hope Agenda, embodying the Federal Government’s vision to restore dignity, empower families, and deliver prosperity at the grassroots. Under Mayor Akindipe’s proactive leadership, Ajeromi-Ifelodun continues to align with the progressive policies of the Tinubu administration, ensuring that the dividends of democracy are felt directly by the people who need them most.

Through the Cash Transfer Card Programme, thousands of residents across Ajeromi-Ifelodun will gain access to essential financial support — resources that will help sustain small businesses, put nutritious meals on family tables, and ease the economic pressures of daily living. This is governance with impact, where policy meets purpose and leadership meets compassion.

Hon. Akindipe’s administration has remained steadfast in transforming Ajeromi-Ifelodun into a model of people-centered governance in Lagos State, championing inclusive development, social welfare, and grassroots empowerment. Each initiative — from food relief programs to empowerment schemes — reinforces his administration’s belief that democracy must deliver tangible results for the people it serves.

As the Cash Transfer Card distribution commences, the spirit of Renewed Hope continues to find real expression in the lives of the people. For Ajeromi-Ifelodun, this is not just another milestone — it is a renewed promise of inclusion, empowerment, and shared prosperity.

Renewed Hope is here. And Ajeromi-Ifelodun is not left out.
