Distinguished guests, community leaders, education stakeholders, members of the press, and the good people of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government,
It is with great honour and deep appreciation that I welcome you to this historic commissioning of the reconstructed Tolu Complex Schools and the Maracana Sports Complex in Ajegunle.
Today is not just about the commissioning of physical structures. It is about hope, opportunity, and deliberate investment in the future of our children and youths through education and sports development.
Your Excellency, Mr. President, sir, your presence today is a great honour to our people. Your Renewed Hope Agenda continues to reposition Nigeria through bold reforms, strategic investments in infrastructure, and a strong commitment to human capital development. Your drive to strengthen governance at the grassroots has further inspired development at the community level. We are indeed proud to receive you in Ajeromi-Ifelodun.
Your Excellency, Mr. Sellable, Mr. Talk-and-Do, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, we sincerely commend your visionary and result-driven leadership. Through the THEMES+ Agenda, Lagos State continues to record significant progress in education, infrastructure renewal, healthcare delivery, and youth empowerment.
The transformation of Tolu Complex Schools into a modern and technology-driven learning environment, alongside the development of the Maracana Sports Complex, clearly reflects your administration’s strong commitment to building not just infrastructure but human capacity These projects will help shape young minds, discover talents, and provide opportunities for thousands of our youths.
Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, education remains the foundation of development, while sports remain a powerful instrument for youth engagement, social inclusion, and talent development. With these facilities, we are building not just classrooms and football pitches but also future leaders, responsible citizens, and champions.


As a local government, we remain committed to supporting people-centred programmes through youth empowerment initiatives, primary healthcare improvements, road rehabilitation, social welfare support, and initiatives that promote local economic growth.
To our dear students and youths, these facilities are provided for your benefit. I encourage you to use them responsibly, remain disciplined, and pursue excellence in your academic and sporting activities.
As we commission these projects today, may they stand as lasting symbols of progress and government’s commitment to improving the lives of our people.
